Peter Foster Macleod - Biography:- 1960             Born in Manchester 1977-1978     Rochdale School of Art (Foundation Course) 1978-1981     Liverpool University School of Art B.A. (First Class                     Honours) 1981-1983     The Slade School of Fine Art London M.A. (Printmaking) 1983-1995     Based in Central London 1995-2000     Set up studio and living in Madrid 2000-2002     Spends two years in Barcelona, working and teaching in                     C/Valencia 2002             Moved to the Spanish Valencia Region 2010             Currently working between studios in Madrid and Alicante   After leaving “The Slade” Foster exhibited his painting, dryprints and sculptures both in London, Italy and Spain. During the ‘80’s and ‘90’s he was also well know during this period for his jewellery and furniture pieces, working with many fashion designers and stylists of the period, creating jewellery collections and interior design projects. In the mid 90s he moved to Madrid, finding in the Spanish Capital an anarchistic spontaneity and freshness that 90s London had lost! Foster is currently working between his studios in Alicante and Madrid producing sculptures, paintings and printmaking, creating limited editions of his colour drypoint prints.
